Rick McCallum, producer of the upcoming Star Wars: Episode III, denied to the Sydney Morning Herald that Hugh Jackman would appear in the third prequel film. The Jackman rumor has been circulating on the Internet, but McCallum told the newspaper that the rumor was "totally false."
McCallum added that director George Lucas will begin work on Episode III, which will shoot mostly in Sydney, the day after Star Wars: Episode II--Attack of the Clones opens on May 16. "The train has already left, and neither George nor I are on it, so we have a lot of work to do," McCallum said.
